Today in 1981 Lady Diana Spencer and Prince Charles were married.
A happy day for millions of people that started a fairy tale that ended in tragedy when Diana was killed in a car accident on August 31, 1997.
I remember watching her funeral and being so sad and crying. She was finally free to enjoy life (her marriage to Charles had ended just over a year earlier) and time suddenly had run out.
I couldn't believe what had happened.

Hubble Space Telescope
Well, I love the Hubble Space Telescope, and I have very little hope it will survive any longer now that NASA has grounded all Shuttle flights.
That's too bad. A repair mission should have been planned years ago. And now it's probably too late.

Today I had a lunch date with my hubby :-)
Went to Caffe' Capri (totally Italian look and feel, it's like being in a small town in southern Italy) and had ravioli. Yummy!!
Tonight I might go to the movies. I'm so far behind with the movies I want to watch. I absolutely need to see Batman Begins (First directive: can't miss anything with Christian Bale... ever) and I'd like to see War of the Worlds (I love anything Steven Spielberg makes).
We'll see.

Hello, it's Friday and another week will be over soon... at least another work week. When you have kids... it never ends.
Virtually no traffic this morning :-)
That was great.
Last night I went to yoga, but Julia, the Thursday teacher, wasn't there. And I didn't like the substitute. As a matter of fact, I left early, 'cause she was getting me so frustrated and angry that it was offsetting all the benefits of the practice. So I went to the sauna and took a nice long shower.
Got the power back around 8.30 pm (we had a power outage caused by a storm on Wednesday night -- it was nice and relaxing to have forced downtime [no electricity, no tv frenzy, laundry, etc...] but it's also very inconvinient [boy, do we depend on electricity]), so that was good (I started watching the second episode of Battestar Galactica, love it), although we had to virtually empty the fridge and freezer :-(
Gotta work now.
