THE GIST: Four friends, all high-school professors, decide to test a scientific theory that humans are naturally born with a blood alcohol level that's a bit too low, and would therefore benefit from boosting it throughout the day. Their experiments have some unintended consequences . . .

Nominated for a Best Director and Best International Feature Film Oscar, along with a Best Foreign Language Picture Golden Globe, Another Round has a very simple premise but delivers plenty laughter and even some tears.

Mads Mikkelsen does a great job, along with Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang, and Lars Ranthe. Furthermore, all the young actors playing the high-school age kids are really good.

THE BOTTOM LINE: A well written and interesting story that explores so many different human emotions and relationships. Well worth your time.
