Just read this article on the BBC website. You'd think everyone would want to "help protect populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity."

Well, apparently not the US, Russia, India, and Brazil, since they are currently being urged by Oxfam, an international charity, to support such a change to how the UN responds to those crisis.

Many countries support the change: Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Nigeria, Kenya, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Canada and the EU.

A few others oppose it: Syria, Iran, Cuba, Pakistan, Egypt and Algeria.

Now let's see with which group the bastion-of-democracy-and-freedom that is supposed to be the US aligns itself.
