So, tonight, Friday, no movies (I'm still too sick) but a new episode of my favorite show on tv at the moment: Battlestart Galactica.

I love it. It's so well done, everything is top notch, direction, acting, writing, visual effects, music. Can't find much better than that at the moment if you like sci-fi, which I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE.

I also finally started watching the second season of The 4400, which I've been TIVOing all along. It's still cool, but more and more I feel the strife to replace The X-Files. Both shows have:

* a man and a woman doing the investigative job;
* they are both white;
* they work for a government agency's branch that is virtually unknown;
* they are helped by a trio of geeks always locked up in their lab;
* and their boss either helps them or hinders their moves, depending on the case at hand, the politics involved, the turfs touched upon, etc...

Without considering the premise of 44oo people returned from the future by future human beings to save humanity from the disaster that will happen in the future if these 4400 people who got abducted and "enhanced" can't prevent it from happening. So there is future, abnormal activity, inexplicable phenomena, conspiracy theories, etc...

Anyway, it's a good show and quite interesting, at least so far.
