George, please, shut up and let the adults do their job

Good editorial by John Aravosis, from AMERICAblog. He virtually says that Bush isn't a leader, isn't smart enough to deal with a situation like Katrina's aftermath, and doesn't know what to do. He might be fine (for some) when all is rosy, but when disaster strikes, we need someone who can actually show strength and resolve, and lead us threw it all. Bush clearly isn't the guy for that:
We are witnessing first-hand what happens when a weak leader responds to a crisis. The crisis worsens, and people die.

[T]he disaster response is a disaster itself. It's a chicken with its head cut off, and seemingly only getting worse and worse while people are starving and dehydrating, waiting for someone, anyone, to lead.

[I]f the frat boy who would be president cares one lick about our country, George Bush should step aside and pass the hurricane relief baton to someone with the intelligence and guts to get the job done.

After this is all over, our country has a lot of hard thinking to do. We've got three more years of this president, and as New Orleans clearly shows, George Bush is not personally prepared to respond to a devastating attack on an American city, nor has he adequately prepared the nation with the four years he's had since September 11.
Couldn't agree more. God forbid there is another terrorist attack, maybe a worse one. Is this the kind of response we have to look forward to?

Bush clearly hasn't made us any safer since 9/11, and we all know he won't do anything in the remaining 3.5 years of his Presidency but enjoy more vacations when we need him to lead.
