Bush is in trouble

This President's response to crisis is such a failure, everybody can see it. He said, "It's worse than imaginable" and then warned of gasoline supply problems this weekend because of damaged refineries and pipelines. As if to say, "Yes, it looks bad, and gas is getting very expensive, but it's not my fault!! It's mother nature's fault, and I must help my rich oil barons friends, so that they can still afford their plush livelihoods."

While he was touring Alabama and Mississippi and was headed for Louisiana, he said, "I'm not looking forward to this trip. It's as if the entire Gulf Coast were obliterated by the worst kind of weapon you can imagine."

Yeah? So why on earth did you stay on vacation 2 extra days when we all saw it was a huge disaster? You're not looking forward to the trip to the disaster area? Poor thing, too bad it's part of the job you ran for twice and even stole from two other better candidates. Just shut up and do your job already, you useless grin face.

And this shows he's in really troubled waters:
Even Republicans were criticizing Bush and his administration for the sluggish relief effort. "I think it puts into question all of the Homeland Security and Northern Command planning for the last four years, because if we can't respond faster than this to an event we saw coming across the Gulf for days, then why do we think we're prepared to respond to a nuclear or biological attack?" said former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Now, when Gingrich says the Republican President's response is inadequate... Bush is really in trouble. I wonder what kind of high-pitched shriek Karl Rove emitted when he read that quote. Schadenfreude.

And still, he doesn't get it:
Asked later how the richest country on Earth could not meet the needs of its people, Bush said "I am satisfied with the response. I am not satisfied with all the results."
What an idiot. The results suck because the response sucked. Did he ever hear about cause and effect? He doesn't even realize that he's telling us, "I'm doing a good enough job, but the results of my hard work aren't satisfactory enough." Duh?
"We'll get on top of this situation," Bush said, "and we're going to help the people that need help."
Yeah? When? Tomorrow? Next week? Next year maybe? When they're all dead? You WILL get on top of this situation and help who needs help? And what about all those people who needed help when you were on vacation?

I guess it's too late for them. But who cares really? They were black, poor, and probably all Democrats anyway.

I just hope people remember this in November of 2006 and vote those blood sucking Republicans out of office.
