4th Man Out

The Gist: When a young man decides to come out to his friends, he gains the freedom to be himself, but has to deal with some new dynamics.

This was a title I randomly found on a recommendation list somewhere, and I'm really happy I did. In spite of some general plot weaknesses its heart is in the right place, and the final product is funny, touching, and heartwarming.

The acting is quite good too and Parker Young and Evan Todd are positively drool-worthy.

The Bottom Line: 4th Man Out is a successful exploration of the struggle to come out in a small town, in a society that might reject you, and of what it might mean for your closest friendships.
