Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

The Gist: After having escaped the maze with the help of a seemingly well organized resistance, our group of survivors finds out that their new host simply works for their previous captors. A daring escape from this new, heavily armored compound, leads to a deserted landscape where our heroes need to figure out how to survive and what to do next.

Dylan O'Brien is back in full form as Thomas in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. The overall quality doesn't much improve but at least it doesn't decrease either.

Patricia Clarkson, now more clearly defined as the villain, sheds some light on why she's doing what she's doing.

The Bottom Line: If you enjoyed The Maze Runner then you might as well check this one out too. It's on the same level quality-wise, but the evolving story does make it interesting enough to make it worth your time.
