Bad Samaritan

THE GIST: Sean and Derek are best friends and also work together as valets at a high-end restaurant. They also burglarize the houses of their customers while they're dining. One night, a very arrogant customer, Cale Erendreich, drives up with his Maserati and Sean can't resist the temptation to check out his house. When he does, however, he discovers a woman bound and gagged that he's unable to set free. He contacts the police, but they find nothing. And now Erendreich, who enjoys sadistically dominating others, targets Sean, Derek, and their loved ones as well.

Bad Samaritan is a pretty gritty thriller with some shades of horror thrown in for good measure. It's definitely enjoyable if you like the genre.

David Tennant is positively terrifying as the villain, perfectly opposed to the adorable Robert Sheehan. Kerry Condon, and Carlito Olivero also star.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Some scene are quite stomach churning, but it's a good tale and definitely well told.
