THE GIST: When three parents find out that their respective daughters, who've been close friends since kindergarten, plan on losing their virginity on prom night, they decide to work together to try and stop them.

Blockers is your run-of-the-mill, harmless, raunchy comedy whose only goal is to help you mentally unplug for a couple hours, and as such it is pretty successful.

John Cena is not a great actor but he's pretty good at self-deprecating humor. Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz are both very good at physical comedy. When you put them together, laughter is guaranteed to follow.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Don't overthink anything that happens onscreen and you'll likely have a good time.
