Tully

THE GIST: Marlo, a pregnant mother of two with a special-needs five-year-old, ends up overwhelmed after giving birth again. Reluctantly, she accepts her brother's gift of a night nanny, Tully, to give her a chance to recover both mentally and physically. Tully reveals herself to be a huge help not just with the children, but around the house and as a friend to Marlo as well. Is she too good to be true?

Tully is a surprising and surprisingly complex and deep dramedy that becomes more and more likable with each new scene.

Charlize Theron is wonderful in the lead role, and Mackenzie Davis is great as her counterpart. Ron Livingston and Mark Duplass also star.

THE BOTTOM LINE: I don't want to give away anything because the least you know about the plot the better. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the end.
