THE GIST: On their way to a romantic weekend in the mountains, a couple is accosted by a biker gang. They fend off the unwanted attention, but get nonetheless dragged into the gang's unsavory dealings with the underworld. Will they make it out okay?

Traffik is a well-acted action/crime film with a twisty and layered script that keeps you engaged throughout.

Paula Patton is quite good going up against a mean-baddie Luke Goss. William Fichtner, Omar Epps, Laz Alonso, Roselyn Sanchez, and Missi Pyle round up the good cast.

THE BOTTOM LINE: The script's readiness to dispatch with characters adds tension to the proceedings, since you never know who is going to be next. Pretty good thriller.
