Creepy (Kuripi: Itsuwari No Rinjin)

THE GIST: A criminal psychology professor is asked by a former police detective colleague to take a look at a six-year-old cold case of a missing family. Meanwhile, he and his wife have just moved to a new home, and their next door neighbor displays some creepy behaviors. Is something unsavory going on behind those walls?

Creepy is a Japanese mystery/thriller that I found interesting for the story itself and also for the different narrative style, which is quite unlike what we're used to get from Hollywood.

The cast is completely unknown to me, of course, but the acting is really good.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Plenty of people decline watching foreign films, but if you're more open-minded, give this a try. You might be surprised at how much you end up liking it.
