Miss Sloane

THE GIST: Elizabeth Sloane is one of me most powerful lobbyists in Washington D.C. She's always willing to do whatever it takes to prevail over her opponents, no matter the costs. Now, however, she's being officially questioned by one of the most powerful Senators about potential ethics rules violations, and she might just have met her match.

Miss Sloane is a pretty cool and very cerebral political thriller that showcases the acting prowess of one of the best actresses working in film right now, the wonderful Jessica Chastain.

Also starring, John Lithgow, David Wilson Barnes, Alison Pill, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sam Waterston, and Mark Strong, so a great display of talent all around.

THE BOTTOM LINE: There are several flashback that hopefully won't throw you off following the plot developments. The movie is definitely worth your time.

Grade: 8.5
