THE GIST: When teenage Quinn is haunted and viciously attacked by a demonic presence, her father pleads with medium Elise Rainier for help. Elise is reluctant and scared to wander in the realm of the dead, for a presence haunts her as well there. Eventually, the two women will have to fight evil together.With two successful movies back-to-back, why stop? So we got Insidious: Chapter 3 and I'm happy to report that it's a well made third chapter.
The producers smartly found a way of creating a new story about breakout character Elise by reaching into the past and making a prequel.
Lin Shaye is back in the role she so perfectly inhabits, this time joined by Dermot Mulroney and Stefanie Scott. Steve Coulter, Leigh Whannell, and Angus Sampson are also back.
THE BOTTOM LINE: This being a prequel, you could watch it first, but either way make sure to catch up with the other two episodes as well.
