THE GIST: After getting his revenge, John Wick still hopes to be able to retire from his profession of assassin. Unfortunately, a blood oath he had made in order to leave his past behind is called in and Wick has no choice but to honor it or face certain death. Still, the choice to honor his oath carries with it its own set of ugly consequences.John Wick: Chapter 2 sees the return of Keanu Reeves in the elegant suit of the assassin for hire, destined to bring chaos and destruction to life and property everywhere he goes.
He's again joined by Ian McShane and Lance Reddick, with new additions like Laurence Fishburne, Franco Nero, Peter Stormare, Common, and Riccardo Scamarcio.
THE BOTTOM LINE: Before watching this movie I would definitely recommend watching the original John Wick; one because it's just as good as this one, and two for story continuity. Just keep in mind that this is a very violent movie, so if that's not your cup of tea, keep searching.
