THE GIST: Having broken two cardinal tenets of the ruthless underworld (the unsanctioned killing of someone from the High Table and committing murder on Continental Hotel grounds, which is known as neutral territory), John Wick is once again on the run. This time, not only does he have a huge bounty on his head, he has also been stripped of any protections he so far enjoyed.John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is the third installment in the John Wick franchise, which doesn't seem to be losing much steam so far. I've come down a bit in my rating for this movie simply because at some point all the relentless killing routines start to become a bit repetitive.
Regardless, Keanu Reeves is still going strong, together with a reinvigorated Ian McShane and Lance Reddick, who take on bigger roles here. The additions of Halle Berry and Angelica Houston only increase the cool factor.
THE BOTTOM LINE: If you've watched and liked the first two chapters, then you know what this movie is about and what you're in for. If you're a newbie to the Wick universe, I'd suggest you start from the top, since it'll help you understand the story better.
