THE GIST: Ethan Hunt is grudgingly called back into action when a terrorist gains access to the Russian nuclear codes with plans to strike the US. When the initial mission goes awry, Ghost Protocol, which disavows them in the eyes of the US government, is invoked. Hunt and his team are now on their own and will have to find and stop the terrorist in order to redeem themselves.Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is the fourth installment in the long running Tom Cruise franchise, and is definitely a solid entry.
Cruise is flanked again by Simon Pegg, which is great, and also by Jeremy Renner, good as always. The bad guy this time is played by Michael Nyqvist, so you know you're in for a treat.
THE BOTTOM LINE: The attack on the Kremlin that opens this movie is uber-spectacular. From then on it's just fun, fun, fun.
